An absolutely gorgeous vintage Persian kilim, full of stories, richness and the kind of presence that makes a room feel instantly more interesting, I mean, who doesn't want her around?!

Handwoven in wool and believed to date from approximately 1950–1970, Parisa is a beautiful example of the skill and patience behind traditional Persian flatweaving. The design is created directly on the loom as coloured wool threads are interlaced, a timeconsuming process that gives each handmade textile its own personality and story.

There’s something particularly lovely about an older kilim: the wool has mellowed, the surface holds traces of its history, and the whole piece feels beautifully settled. Parisa has that character in abundance.

At just over three metres long, it’s a fab size for a generous hallway or for bringing a living space together. A stunning vintage find to enjoy every day and treasure for years to come.

Measurements: approximately 305cm × 140cm.

Material: handwoven wool.

Clean and in good vintage condition, with visible wear and variations in the weave. Please examine the detailed photographs carefully. A rug underlay is recommended.
