The Rihla Vintage Wool Runner

A gorgeous vintage wool textile, believed to be a Bedouin tent panel or decorative divider, now a completely unique long runner. It's just incredible! 

I love the pops of orange and pink which lift this rug from a neutral to a sublime! This is literally a case of 'all the little details' count.

Its huge proportions and gorgeous tasselled details suggest a connection to the woven furnishings of nomadic life and the textiles that brought comfort, privacy and beauty to a life more travelled.

There are some faint marks to the cream areas and imperfections you would expect on a wool rug of this age.
