Nzuri Shopper Basket

Nzuri translates as 'beautiful' in Swahili, and I just feel this bag exudes classic summer style.

Crafted from locally sourced sisal grass and leather, each bag is woven by a member of a thriving women’s weaving co-operative in the Greater Lower Eastern Region of Kenya, from locally sourced and sustainable materials. Each bag takes up to a week to complete – using methods woven through the generations, passed from grandmothers to mothers to granddaughters.

Measurements: Across top: 42cm, Height 32cm (with handle 43cm), width at bottom 29cm. Please note due to the handmade nature of these bags, dimensions may vary slightly.

Colours: beige/brown and a dark charcoal/black. Colours may vary slightly due to the natural dying process.
