Beba Tote Basket

Beba translates as 'carry' in Swahili.

Handwoven from locally grown palm and finished with rich, genuine leather, each piece is crafted with care by artisans in the Medina of Marrakech.

Made from locally sourced natural sisal and genuine leather, the Beba Tote Bag is the perfect 'chuck it in and swing it over your shoulder' kind basket. The kinda bag our mums had in the 80s.

Each bag is woven by a member of a thriving women’s weaving co-operative in the Greater Lower Eastern Region of Kenya, from locally sourced and sustainable materials. Each bag takes up to a week to complete – using methods woven through the generations, passed from grandmothers to mothers to granddaughters.

Measurements: W38cm x L43cm x H30cm, strap length approx 29cm. Please note due to the handmade nature of these bags, dimensions may vary slightly.
