Fashioned from traditional Bakhtiari bag weaving, this piece connects to a time when beautifully crafted textiles carried the belongings of everyday life - oh what a time to be alive! Useful objects, made with remarkable care, whose beauty was woven into their purpose.

Today, those woven sections come together in a rug with a character entirely its own. Softly worn surfaces sit alongside deeper, plush passages; visible joins and old repairs add another chapter to its story. There is something particularly lovely about a piece that has been made, used, adapted and kept.
